Wedding Dress Alteration Service

Our aim is for every customer to leave feeling reassured, and happy with their dress. 

How it works...


If you are thinking about using us, here is some information about the alteration process.


We usually recommend that brides book a consultation appointment as soon as they have their dress, shoes and correct underwear.  The reasons for coming early are, firstly it gives you peace of mind that the dress is being taken care of, and secondly and that you are happy with what we suggest. Additionally, your dress is safely stored.

Consultation (Your First Appointment) 
Our consultation is free (see price guide for further info).


We offer a relaxed friendly environment which takes place in newly refurbished spacious fitting room, which is big enough for somebody to come with you.  Our fitting room is air conditioned, with lots of mirrors so that you will be able to see your dress from all angles. 


Before you put your dress on, we can look at design and structure of dress, and then after that you can then put dress on, with wedding shoes and underwear.


Your dress will be pinned to fit your body shape. We will offer advice and options to achieve the look you want. We are also very happy to take into consideration any budget requirements you may have.


You will then be provided with a quote for the work.  If you decide to go ahead with alterations, we require a deposit. Please note deposits are non-refundable.


In terms of how we undertake alterations, we usually start with the hem length if required, and then do any other preparation work if needed ready for your fitting, closer to the wedding date. By doing this, your dress alterations will be completed in good time.


Fitting (Your Second Appointment)


At your fitting you will try your dress on to make sure if fits correctly, and you will have the opportunity to discuss if any further work needs to be carried out. Final alterations will be completed for ready collection.


Collection (Your Final Appointment)


You will be required to try your dress back on, to make sure you are completely satisfied with it.

Payments

We accept debit/credit cards, cash and BACs transfer payments.


A non-refundable deposit will be required before we start any work on your dress.


We request that the balance is paid in full upon collection of your dress.


If preferred, there is an option to pay incrementally prior to collection.
